A rich and creamy fettuccine Alfredo that is easy to make in the Instant Pot. This is a great quick and comforting meal.
Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
Break the fettuccine noodles in half and place them in the Instant Pot
Add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, butter, garlic, salt, and black pepper to the Instant Pot
Close the lid and set the valve to the sealing position
Cook on manual high pressure for 8 minutes
Once cooking is complete, do a quick release of pressure
Open the lid and stir the fettuccine Alfredo well
If the sauce is too thin, switch to saut mode and cook for a few more minutes, stirring constantly, until desired thickness is reached
Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley
